As of July 28, 2019, a new state law removes the personal and philosophical option to exempt children from the MMR vaccine required for school and child care attendance. Medical and religious exemptions are not affected by this new law.
Now that we are a full week into August, I can barely contain my excitement to welcome our incoming 6th, 7th and 8th graders to the 2019-20 school year.
The Northshore School District will serve lunch at no charge to all children who are 18 and younger. Children do not have to be enrolled in the District to receive this benefit. The program will run from June 28 to August 16, Monday through Friday, except for July 4 and 5, at Northshore Middle School.
We are excited to announce that the Northshore School District has partnered with FinalForms to improve our athletic registration process. FinalForms will replace FamilyID, our current online tool for completing athletic participation forms.
The Northshore School Board approved the 2019-20 school year calendar, during its April 22, 2019 regular meeting.
Due to the epic snow storm we endured in February, we cancelled school for eight days. We've put together a plan to make this time up.
