4 Seasons of Sports @ NMS

Northshore Middle School encourages all students to participate in ASB clubs, activities and sports programs.  Sports registrations are made through Final Forms and registrations are now open. Sports physicals are required and are valid for 2 years from the date of physical exam and needs to be signed by the physician.  Remember to allow plenty of time to get the sports physical prior to the sports season starting.  Registration on Final Forms & submission of sports physical is required to tryout/participate.

Season 1 (September – October)

Cross Country – Boys & Girls – Non Cut

7th & 8th Grade Boys Tennis – Cut

7th & 8th Grade Girls Volleyball – Cut

6th Grade Girls Soccer – Non Cut

7th & 8th Grade Girls Soccer – Cut

Season 2 (November – January)

7th & 8th Grade Boys Basketball – Cut 

6th Grade Boys Basketball – Non Cut

Season 3 (January – March)

Wrestling – Boys & Girls – Non Cut

7th & 8th Grade Girls Basketball – Cut

6th Grade Girls Basketball – Non Cut

Season 4 (April – May)

6th Grade Boys Soccer – Non Cut

7th & 8th Grade Boys Soccer – Cut

7th & 8th Grade Girls Tennis – Cut

6th Grade Girls Volleyball – Non Cut

Track & Field – Boys & Girls – Non Cut

Sports Schedules

During Season 4 we offer boys' soccer, 7th & 8th girls' tennis, track, 6th grade volleyball. Track is coed and non-cut.  

Tryouts for 7th & 8th-grade boys' soccer and 7th & 8th girls' tennis will be held March 28th & 29th and additional days as needed.  

Track, 6th grade boys' soccer and 6th grade volleyball practices will begin March 28th.

Students who are interested in participating in athletics at Northshore Middle School must meet eligibility requirements of the Washington Interscholastic Athletic Association (WIAA) and Northshore Middle School.
